Rebuilding Together Baltimore’s Fix-It program is designed to engage skilled volunteers throughout the year to do a variety of home repairs for homeowners in Baltimore. Fix-It projects are assigned to skilled volunteers who have gone through an orientation with the staff at Rebuilding Together Baltimore, and they are normally spearheaded by the individual or group of skilled volunteers.
This program provides an excellent opportunity for handymen or handywomen to devote free time to working with homeowners in need. Because our Fix-It volunteers are representing Rebuilding Together Baltimore, we do require quality repair work and a commitment to completing all projects that have been started.
Fix-It projects may range from basic home safety modifications such as installing a hand rail or grab bar, but they may also include more involved repairs such as replacing windows or doors. If you or anyone you know may be interested in volunteering your skills for our Fix-it program please call us at 410-889-2710 or email RTBaltinfo@gmail.com to learn more!
