Skilled Volunteers
We are looking for skilled volunteers to participate in our year round Fix-It program that serves homeowners who live outside of our Rebuilding Day neighborhoods. This program utilizes volunteers who are skilled in the following areas: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Glazing, HVAC, Lead Safety, Roofing, Plaster/Drywall, Concrete, Weatherization, Extermination, Locksmith, Window Repair, Masonry, and general handy people.
Depending on your availability and skill level, you can commit anywhere between one day a year to one day a week toward repairing homes. Projects range from installing grab bars, to repairing a leaky faucet, to fixing a broken heating system. All materials that are needed for projects will be provided by Rebuilding Together Baltimore.

Occupational Therapists
Many of the homeowners who are selected for Rebuilding Day live in unsafe housing conditions that place them at a high risk for falling or injury. In order to provide repairs that will help these homeowners live more safely and comfortably in their homes, we rely on occupational therapists to complete home safety evaluations and to recommend home safety modifications. Volunteer occupational therapists complete as many home safety evaluations as they like and can schedule evaluations for whenever they are free.
Contact us if you or anyone you know is a trained occupational therapist and are interested in volunteering your time.
